Man I used to love baseball....

I feel like the game is in the worst state it’s been in in several decades

boring star players, teams are shit, ball parks are empty even on opening day

Dodgers just went to back to back World Series and the ball park was half empty on opening day

may not watch another game til playoffs in october

You can add NBA too. I couldn't watch more than a few games this year.

No, apparently you got buried opening day. If you think the Nfl is the best league you have fukin problems. Nfl easily the dumbest shit product there is right beside the Nba. Mlb opening day was awesome and i cant wait to get to Citifield next week for Mets opening day.

Well you are correct about the NFL but college football makes you wait til playoffs to see 2 good teams face off

no point in watching Alabama’s cupcake regular season schedule

Would almost rather watch soccer than MLB.

the salary cap situation makes the game terrible these days

small market teams at such a disadvantage

NFL and NBA much better for avg fan

Agree, might be bias as by far NHL has been my sport year over year profit wise.

Disagree that mlb is boring. Yes at times it can be, especially a tight game. Always some nice nostalgia though when you bet big on a team and then get to watch them for cheap, $20 or less in action.

Dodgers bats were on fire yesterday and hit 8 home runs.. A few other teams lit it up too.. Not that boring when dinger and dinger are hit..

                                            MLB's Opening Day was a home-run frenzy

                                            MLB's Opening Day was a home-run frenzy

Fans who love the longball got their fill on MLB Opening Day. Spurred by a franchise-record eight homers by the Dodgers alone, baseball saw players go deep 48 times to open the season. Among those who mashed their way onto the early-season highlight reel were Yankees Luke Voit and Greg Bird, as well as Robinson Cano in his Mets debut. The Cardinals and Brewers combined for six in their ice breaker — the total could have been higher if not for Lorenzo Cain's game-saving robbery for Milwaukee — with two from Kolten Wong, who was joined by the Cubs' Javier Baez, the Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez and Joc Pederson, and Seattle's Tim Beckham as players who swatted a pair of homers. Etc....

Can’t watch it without money on a game until the Playoffs. I don’t really have a team though. Think it’s great to watch when you’re gambling on it. Makes any game exciting until you’re down 6 runs going into the 8th.

I agree, I can't watch even with money on it.. I bet it like crazy all year long too. I never watch a game.. Just the highlights.. Baseball is to slow for my liking..

I use to go to games all the time, I might go to a Dodger game or two this year.. I do like going with friends and watching the live games and loading up. That's a good time when you win.

I love watching baseball until about June , then mostly scores and just Phillies , back to it September

postseason baseball is the best playoff of any sport

The league using money ball management leeps ot relevant but the money, the contracts, the ticket costs, etc are a disconnect w fans.

Next cba will make or break mlb...players might kill the golden goose.

Loved watching the Braves pitching staff in the 90's on TBS. Cubs were cool too, watching on WGN. Haven't gotten into it too much lately. Just busy, I guess.

Yes some things have changed, analytics has hurt in a way. I don’t like how acceptable strikeouts have become and the devaluing of situational hitting is a problem imo. Never half empty stadiums here in stl. Pretty sure dodgers draw 3 million plus every season (almost 4 mil last year!), their park only half empty in 1st couple innings cause the LA crowd always late. Lad averaged 47k per game last year! Half the league drew more than 30k per game so far from half empty.

Far as “teams are shit”, that couldn’t be further from the truth and is mostly a narrative that clown agent boras pushes whenever his overrated aging clients don’t get redic deals. In the NL there really only 2 teams that are “shit” the marlins and maybe zona, dbags should get the benefit of the doubt since we don’t know how their rebuild will look as of yet., Yes the AL is down but it not as drastic as it made out to be it just incredibly top heavy right now.
