Guess what today is the last day to make the cut for the Poker Main Event!

Qualifier Schedule
Three daily tournaments Mon-Fri beginning January 21st through March 29th– 3PM, 8PM, 11PM ET.
On April 2nd we will have the First Qualifying game for those finishing in 21st-50th place. (7 advance to Finals).
On April 4th we will have the Second Qualifying game for those finishing in 51st-75th place, (3 advance to Finals).

50 players per tournament. 6-point entry fee for Non-Pros, SBR Pros Play Free.

Leovegas with ice in his veins completes the HU comeback and takes it down to catapult himself to 1590 points and easily into the top 20. Oldschool gambler's 2nd moves him to 1475 and shakes up the bubble, has a chance to make it

Yes, now both mpaschal34 and freeagent need to cash today now as they are currently on the bubble with leovegas's win and oldschoolgambler's second. Still several other players though with a chance to leapfrog into the Top 20 with a first or perhaps even a second in the two remaining events though. Lot of folks have to go completely for broke today as they might need a first to move up there - might make for an entertaining couple of events!

Wow, dlowilly takes it down with another heads up comeback to move to 1495! Mpaschal finishes 6th in the same tourney to move to 1490. Unless I've missed someone or miscounted, I believe this makes 1490 the mark to beat for 20th place going into the 11 pm. Correct me if I'm wrong

But again, there would be a certain amount of justice if those closest to making it went through the qualifier - especially the way I donked mpaschal (to quote JoeCool!) in the last qualifier!

I do hope they at least give us reasonable stacks for the qualifier rather than the 1500 we had last time which resulted in a pretty quick move to an allin fest. Hopefully 5000 at least or maybe even 10000.

Thanks for the kind words...did feel like a big kick to the balls seeing all the big cashes go right by me today.

Oh well, the real world is tomorrow and I get to go to Dallas’s biggest beerfest of the year. So I’m sure I’ll get over it.

As for the qualifier, I agree on a larger stack size. If it’s the same small size as last time it may not be worth rushing home to play from work. We will see.
