Nice profitable day, any pinging coming from chavez ravine where one of the highest payrolls in baseball takes on the lowly reds? I’m sure they’ll be plenty of excitement to have their ace back on the hill, hopefully the excitement remains in the park and doesn’t carry into the parking lot.

If I had a lean, DIN, it would be Reds +1.5. I’ll have to see which way pinny adjusts on this.

With that won/loss record, it’s slightly comforting to only be down 2.22 units.

Less second guessing, more “if it quacks like a duck, it’s most likely a duck”.


Through roughly 16/17 games this year, let’s look at some Run Differentials (RD) throughout the league:

I anticipate some regression from the Brewers; 12 wins thru 18 games yet their RD is only +1

The Rays on the other hand are the real deal. 13 wins and an impressive +40 RD.

The Orioles are due for some serious regression -to the surprise of few - as they’ve managed to win 7 games already with a staggering -29 RD

I expect some regression from the 10-7 Indians. 10 wins but they’ve outscored opponents by a total of 1 run

The Marlins are indeed as bad as their record would indicate. They’ve managed 4 wins in 18 games and have a MLB worst -43 RD
