#20Ariel Helwani joins SportsCenter to react to Conor McGregor announcing his retirement from the UFC via Twitter and why McGregor holds all the power if his announcement is just a negotiation ploy.
Ariel Helwani isn’t convinced Conor McGregor’s decision to retire from the UFC is final and isn’t sold on Dana White’s support of McGregor’s announcement.
Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman discuss Conor McGregor's retirement from the UFC and what it means for his legacy. Stephen A. says McGregor clearly "doesn't want it anymore" and feels he draws too much attention for a fighter who has not fought as much as he should. Max disagrees and says his competitive matches vs. Floyd Mayweather and Khabib Nurmagomedov prove he's an all-time great.

#24You're telling me though that they can't PPV Diaz vs McGregor 3, even though its not for a belt? I guarantee you that there are champions who would be just fine being the Co main on that card. Imagine a CM vs ND fight with Usman vs Colby as the co. Nunez as well, just spit balling here.
I am not that thrilled about the trilogy fight, but the casuals would eat it up, and its a decent fight for both of them in their careers. Diaz is constantly asking for more money, and CM wants the shine.Comment -

however, he wants UFC shares
that will never happen, if he beats Khabib someday and becomes the best fighter ever yes, they could consider it, but he beating Khabib? I would not bet on itComment -

#31I don't know if Floyd retiring was a tactic.
Floyd comes out of retirement everytime he runs out of money and files for bankruptcy.
Was that a tactic, too?

I'm not shocked to see this at all.. He's got other things to do these days rather then train daily in MMA or even boxing..
Jon Jones is jealous..
