i knew it was over when they blew the 2 on 1 74-70 and the guy didn't pass the ball quick enough then tried to throw the alley oop and it wasn't good enough

So many dumb mistakes by UCF.

Missing an alley up that would have put them up 6.
Giving up a 3 to cut it to 1.
Fouling to give Duke a chance to tie the game.
Not boxing out to give up a rebound layup to lose the game

That or just grab a rebound on the Zion 3 or his missed free throw or just get the layup or put back to go in.

Duke wins because Zion is allowed to bulldoze someone at the end... and the dumb giant stayed close enough to him to allow the refs to call the fake and 1 since Duke was down 3...

then he chokes the FT but Duke allowed to push someone in the back on the rebound and they get the free gimme layup that is the game winner

and people wonder why the entire stadium was fired up to see Duke lose

Knew it would happen eventually. Then they swallow their whistle on the last play. They just called a foul on that twice earlier in the game when he drove like that. So sick of Duke getting a free pass through the tourney. Couldn’t let the Zion media train end yet. Duke will still go down eventually, but this was the recipe for how you beat them. They had it. I can’t get over the push off on the rebound. I know the ref standing there saw that shit. You don’t get an offensive board on a FT that easily.

Brutal way to end your season. UCF outplayed Duke, and refs didn't help at all. Duke might end up regrouping this week, blow out Va Tech by 20, beat Mich State by a dozen and roll to the Final Four. Not sure if they will be able to beat UNC/Tenn/Kentucky in the Final
