Always been a Gentry fan. He coached his butt off when he was with the Warriors. Lot of unfair blame and unwarranted criticism targeted at Alvin. Considering the whole A.Davis circus and the myriad of upper level management dysfunction, the last person I'd be blaming is the coach. There's a lot worse coaches in the NBA and I'm looking at you Luke Walton among others.

He was an assistant with the Warriors. I remember when he was with the Clippers as a head coach. He would sit there straight ahead looking lost. You need to listen to those announcers angst in that video. He screwed up twice on basic basketball coaching moves.

Who even cares if they win or lose games? Anthony Davis doesn't care if they win or lose! NBA forces them to play Davis who doesn't care. Management says screw this and they don't care. Owner has given up on this team and doesn't care (oh, play AD a few minutes so we do not get a fine). Fans of Pels are past caring anymore and are getting their AINTS paper sacks out.

With everybody not caring what are the player's besides AD supposed to think? Pels ownership needs to go to the NBA and tell them that it unfair to be forced to play AD and create this atmosphere.

IDK what you guys are talking about.
1) 2-3 guys intentionally fouled the passer before the 3 ball. Ref swallowed the whistle.
2) The timeout wasn`t a mistake. Both teams tanking. Pels did it on purpose.

He said he told his players to foul before the 3, if true, thats not on him. He’s not on the floor, he cant foul.

The tech obviously on him but who cares if a coach loses a game, sometimes refs blow calls and lose games, players make stupid plays and lose games, he’s not perfect. Every coach has lost their team games in one way or another

This is how games are fixed in the NBA. To the untrained eye it looks like an honest mistake. But to the trained eye he made sure books got who they wanted to win.

Pels started at 1.85 with my book. Game time they got down to 1.50. There was a lot of money on Pels ML. Books wanted Suns win.
