Syracuse is not a good basketball team. Full of individual talent, but just cannot play as a team. They are playing their worst basketball of the year as well. Pitt usually gives Syracuse trouble. It’s been better without Dixon coaching, but still tough to beat. They are riding high off a big win, and have all the motivation in the world. Tonight is their Super Bowl. Expect a low scoring, grind it out, battle. If JWF is on, then he will light up the zone. The +7 should be good, and I’d give the ML a go as well.

Hopefully it works out that way, but with money on the line, I’d definitely feel safer on Pitt. Syracuse needs to find their offense somehow. Pitt is a solid squad defensively though. Tough to beat someone three times. Hope I’m wrong here. Maybe just a Pitt cover for those afraid to take the ML.

You may be right. We seem to blow out teams or get blown out. The 2nd half is so defeating to watch. I tend to think this one stays close though just because neither team is explosive on O. Jimmy is hard headed. He doesn’t make adjustments offensively. With the zone he will, but still will run the same offense. The other team adjusts and that’s all she wrote. Fortunately Pitt isn’t all that talented. This isn’t Duke, UNC, or UVA. Our offense may work just enough. Whoever is hot from deep wins. Just no confidence in anyone’s shooting right now except for Buddy.
