Look at any news cast post that reported about it on Twitter. Look at the comment section. You’ll see that people found the Jazz fan’s twitter where he is beyond racist days priors and a month prior on twitter. Clearly Westbrook was right here.

I'm holding out judgement for a little while on this. Normally other videos come out after another 24-48 hours, so let's see if there is more footage out there to add to this story.

One thing I will state though is at first glance, if something inappropriately racist was said, I would hope that other spectators would rat the fan out. I think that happened a couple of years ago at a Red Sox game.

Dude just look on Twitter. Guy less than a month ago says “Westbrook should go back where he came from” then comments back against someone else in another post “ok ***** boy”. Guy is 110% a racist.

Talking about the incident and not his Twitter account. All that shows is that both Westbrook with his temper, and this fan BOTH have histories. It doesn't give details of what actually was said by the fan.

Racism has always been around. How you deal with it is another thing. These days everything is offensive.

The way Westbrook handled this situation in particular was terrible.

Threatening to beat up someone’s wife wasn’t a good way in retaliating. You could take a smarter more professional approach but he chose to be the bigger idiot.

COUNTLESS stories of racist chants against players. Hell after a player announced their child had cancer, the fans chanted cancer during the game.

They verbally abused them, he verbally fought back. Did he lay a hand on either on them? No.

Philly guy nailed it, most physicians and attorneys don't make what an NBA bench player makes in a year let alone a Megastar like Westbrook. Taking verbal abuse from fans should be the least of his worries or concerns
