You could easily fall out of the top 20 if Duke does not win it all, at this stage after only two rounds, the current standings are not as important as having the eventual winner. I am on the opposite side of the spectrum, I am currently 183rd but would probably finish in the Top 6 if Gonzaga wins it all. I actually played with it a bit, I definitely still have chances to cash even if Duke doesn't win it all. If say Duke loses next round, but the rest of my Final Four is correct, I still probably cash for instance. But yes, no way I can win unless Duke takes it (and even then it's far from a lock that I win though it probably will guarantee me Top 5 or so).
Yes, Jake my heart was in my mouth during last part of that game! If they'd lost that, everything would have been destroyed for sure heh. But getting 16/16 teams correct in Sweet 16 - never done that before or close (don't think I've ever done better than 13/16), just hope I don't waste this once in a lifetime performance!Comment -

Two of my final four picks: Duke and Tennessee both had extreme close calls yesterday - naturally a bit concerning since they seem quite vulnerable. Though I wonder if in a way that can be a good thing - I seem to recall several prior winners of this having a huge close call early then cruising rest of the way. Perhaps having such a narrow escape early is a good wake up call/good motivation for those squads.
Who really knows - probably can find enough anecdotal evidence for almost any possibility to be considered quite viable from here! Only can wait and see - should be a fun four days at least sweating the action, whether it goes good or bad for me. Usually by this point I'm already dead in the water with say two of my final four teams out, glad to be in contention of any kind given that! Last year I did so badly early that even though I picked the proper winner I still didn't quite cash. Least that won't be true this year

It was so obvious Virginia would get all of the calls. I was only watching some of the game and highlights just now but NCAA really wants UVA to get that title. Missed double dribble, questionable foul on the 3 pointer etc. Really interested in rewatching both last games. This looks like a pattern and if it continues Virginia can be an easy money maker in the Final game.Comment -
