Here's how I play.
Pass line and always max odds. If I come out on an inside number, I place the other 3 inside numbers. If I get an outside number, I place all of them. Collect once then press, rinse and repeat.
Stay away from the sucker bets in the middle of the table. The one exception is if I come out on a hardway, I play the hardways.
This is what happened on my first session at Resorts on Thursday:
Bought in $600, lost $400 on the four shooters before I got the dice and I had $200 left.
Passline for $15. Came out on hard 6. Took $100 in odds, placed the 8 for $30 and $15 each on the hard 6 & 8. Next roll was hard 8. Parlayed it to $150. Next roll was hard 6 and parlayed the hard 6 for $150. Now i played the passline for $30 and came out on a 9. Took 150 in odds. Next roll was the hard 8. Collected $1,200 and pressed it to $300. Made 4 consecutive 5's and then made the hard 8 again. Collected $2,500 and pressed it to $500. The next 20 rolls were 4's, 5's, 10's, and 11's. Finally 7'd out and I had roughly $6,000 in my stack. Needed to make one more hard 8 for an additional $4,500 or the hard 6 for another $2,700.
I use 3 different sets to set the dice. The one I use most is the Flying V with the 3-3 on top and the 1-5 facing me. This one produces the most inside numbers.Comment -
Yes the best shooters use a set and their tosses makes 1 full rotation before landing. It's not easy and it takes a lot of practice. I have periods where I don't have enough control and the numbers are all over the place and then I have periods where I can roll 60-100 times without a 7 and 80% of the numbers are inside. Most good shooters want to be right beside the stickman but I don't get the full rotation from that spot so I am looking to be 2-3 spots away from the stickman.Comment -

Yes. Too many $500-$1,500 losses to remember but more $10k-$50k wins than I can remember. I always limit my losses but I never limit how much I am willing to win. I've 7'd out so many times with $25k-$35k in action on the table where 10 more rolls would have made me another $100k or so.

AirBNB is always the way to go. You get amazing accomodations for less than a shitty hotel room. You wouldnt believe some of the insanely nice places I've stayed overseas for under $100 per night with AirBNB. If you can get comp'd a suite or something take it. If you are paying you will always get more for your money on AirBNB.Comment -
