TIP: Sure it is easy to go by rotation number, but added games have weird numbers sometimes PLUS sometimes out of order at your book. You still have to scroll for that. It is very elementary but when you have some random game, push CONTROL + f on your browser. It pops up a search feature. From there, just type the college team you want to bet and itll take you right to where they are listed and highlight it. 10years ago hack that you guys are finally learning about.

ive played about 20 games

my only strategy is to play the middle without thinking and then start focusing when it hits the outer 2 layers

That's not a bad strategy. Controlling the center of the board works well in this game(and in Chess). Here's another strategy tip, if you can keep your pieces in a small clump(preferably most or all of your pieces should be touching each other, so it looks sort of like an island) in the center of the board it should lead to very good positioning later in the game. Whomever has superior positioning later in the game almost always wins.

Sort of, it's mostly so you can run your opponent out of moves. This is what the Othello/Reversi games are all about. Whomever has the most options of where they can move is almost always winning the game. Piece count is irrelevant until late in the game. AND, whomever runs out of legal places they can move almost always loses the game. Having a small clump in the middle of the board will usually insure that you always have a few decent places to move and it can usually get you a corner. Whomever gets a corner first usually wins the game.
