FD I consider you a buddy at this point so I did just take the time to check out this room and what's going on there.

So, within reason you can play 1/2 NL with a $40-$200 buy in or 2/5 with a $200-$400 buy in I think she said. I might be slightly wrong.

Ok so coincidentally I traveled to casino today to play 1/2 $200 at when I am used to playing 1/3 $300 max, or 1/2 PLO $600 Max.

I am an extremely tight/aggro player meaning I play premium hands (pretty much AQ and up) and if I have something I play the crap out of it. Sure I have other moves in position, etc. My buddy has more of a tight passive approach, meaning he might smooth call someone with Kings to see if an ace hits the flop. He always likes to buy in for $100 or so where as I buy in for the max despite what I'm playing - because the way I see it if I double up and it's not for the full amount I consider any amount that I wasn't fully bought in for to be a mistake. There's something to be said for either approach depending on what's going on.

That being said if you play their 1/2 maybe his style would be better since you will have people buying in for $40-$100 and therefore their ranges will be drastically expanded. In other words what I ran into today is that with KK an $8 preflop raise meant nothing when I was beaten by 83.

I would play the 2/5 there and I like the sound of it. At that game, I would buy in for $400 and play mostly only those premium hands, very aggressively.
Looks like the minimum age there to gamble is 18? That could work in your favor. Trap those young guns. Do it again, and again.
