In my opinion Ann Arbor has changed so much in 10-15 years. More immigrants than ever... a lot of people around the world go to the Medical School at U of M. Way to congested.

I just thought it was funny hearing Tirico's voice calling a NHL game. Apparently NBC wants him to do more work to earn that large contract of his? No other explanation.... really.

You can tell out of all commentators... he really does try hard and review every players personal charts etc... not knocking his effort... just never thought I'd hear him call a hockey game lol

Shot, I was a Tirico fan from long ago. Talented guy + works at his craft.

At some point, thought he bought into his own "superstar" status. Don't like him nearly as much as I used. He used to be more humble, imho.

I still think he's more humble than most. He just has a likable image.... hard to hate the guy.

I have had the opportunity to meet him. Liked him a lot. Seemed like a regular dude. And he happens to be a guy who plays hockey himself and knows the game well so he has a leg up on other hockey announcers.

Tirico is pretty vanilla. Not offensive, nothing outlandish, won't rock the boat.

The guy knows his sports no doubt, but I feel like I could fall asleep when he's announcing.
