Congratulations Cure Angelman Participants! $1,680 Raised
    Thank you SBR Nation!

Wow! We had 84 entries for the Cure Angelman Poker Event and because of all of your generosity we raised $1,680 to donate to the research to eradicate this disease. This amount will make a difference in people lives going forward as every dollar donated to this cause enhances the ability to discover a cure. Again THANK YOU!

All of your kindness is going towards the elimination of this disease.

Angelman syndrome (AS) is a rare neurogenetic disorder that affects approximately one in 15,000 people – about 500,000 individuals worldwide. Symptoms typically include difficulty suckling and eating, gastrointestinal issues, delayed crawling and babbling, balance and motor impairment, and seizures.

For more information about this disease click here.

We are very proud of the SBR Nation for getting more participants this year than last and we looking forward to doing this again in 2020.

Been out of the loop and forgot all about this. Can I transfer a buy in to you and have it count towards the donation?

Is there a way you could change the policy for non-pros so that they can apply points to donations to St Jude's, Angelman, etc? I don't see why that can't be a thing.

Nope. I had been a pro on here for 5-6 years, but I'm not on here as much as before. I'm busy with work, the poker cash games were dying out, I dunno just decided to save the hundred for other things.

It's just the other night I got lucky on blackjack and ended up with like 1200 points. I'd rather use the points for St Jude's donations then just have them sit in my account or go to waste betting parlays or lose them back in the casino.
