#36My suspicion is that most people who are banned from sportsbooks would actually prove to be long term losers if they had been allowed to bet for longer. I really don’t think that banning people is financially beneficial for sportsbooks.Comment -

#38If you think big well known books limit people "just for winning" as so many say, then it makes sense you would think that.Originally posted by bettingman6

But most (if not all) don't just look at how much you have won or even how much you bet. It's people who show they have a mathematical edge or are exploiting deficiencies in their tech/system that get limited.
The OP here is betting a small market that they probably do not closely monitor and has probably been betting the right side of odds that later got worse a lot of the time.
The lower sized bets he played probably left him with access for longer than otherwise, but even if he had been betting $10 at a time, most efficient books would eventually pick it up and act the same way..Comment -

#39The problem is that it takes a long time to show if somebody has a mathematical edge over the book. Probably a minimum of 1,000 bets.Originally posted by OptionalIf you think big well known books limit people "just for winning" as so many say, then it makes sense you would think that.

And I’ve heard of people who have gotten banned after a month on a sportsbook. You’d have to place 33 or 34 bets on an average day in order to place 1,000 bets in a month.Comment -

#42Jr hockey and NCAA are entirely different things. Most JR teams would mop the floor with NCAA schools.Originally posted by MicrophoneTry 5 Dimes. They have Junior hockey and the better version of it, NCAA Hockey

#43I've never worked in a player management dept so can't be sure, but I think they will make an initial decision on how they rate you after a handful of bets.Originally posted by bettingman6The problem is that it takes a long time to show if somebody has a mathematical edge over the book. That won't usually be a $3 limit like the OP got here (on that one market he likes) though.
If you are getting tiny limits or booted immediately soon after joining, there is some other problem they have with you. Possibly a combination of country or region, payment method and info shared through third party player "integrity" services using stuff like Iesnare..Comment -

#45CRIS puts up lines on OHL games. I know there are other books that offer OHL but I cant recall at this exact moment.Originally posted by fishfan51Most of my plays are on junior hockey. I don’t know of any other books that offer the CHL.
BoDog seems to cater to Canadians.
