Maybe so, but odds are they get a better offer/offers this summer when the bidding opens up for everyone. No reason to rush into the first deal that comes their way, he's under contract for another year.

The other New Orleans players have rights??? Why can’t the Pelicans suspend AD without pay for conduct dentrimental to the team? What they are doing by playing him 25 minutes a game is a joke. That is absolutely worthless. What the NBA is telling them to do is BS! Who cares if they lose a grievance lawsuit and end paying out - they are not getting much for their money the way it is?
