Van Grundy nailed it. If the NBA is going to force the Pelicans to play him, it’s not in their best interest to win games. Personally I’m sitting him out every game since he doesn’t want to be there. Not playing him in the 4Q is the next best option.

I was nervous as hell cause it was so close at the end and i had pelicans -3.5 but it worked out, luckily they was playin a shit team otherwise it woulda been a loss, and that shit was stupid as hell either play him full game or sit him full game

The Pelicans decided to play Anthony Davis after talks with the NBA in which the league stressed that the team could be subject to a $100,000 fine for every game Davis didn't play, citing a two-year-old rest rule, sources say.
