Best time to book flight from east coast to Vegas?

I’ve heard varying opinions. Some say 4 months in advance is best, some say waiting until the last minute is best. What has been your experience? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For the longest time, the best time of the week to book was Tuesday evenings, this changed to Sundays last year. As long as you're three weeks out, you're fine.

Package deals for hotel and airfare used to be good. 1 month or 4 month i dont think the diffential is that big conpared to what are busy seasons for Vegas. Also watch out for added resort fee on hotel quotes.
