Fact is Raonic played like shit against Poullie. Not sure why people overvalue Poullies win over Raonic when Raonic had 58% 1st serve throughout the whole match. 3-0 Djokovic is lock.

The first being prior to that QF match Raonic's opponents beat themselves which was pretty accurate, and the second being Novak lost sets he had no business losing.

But with that said Novak always seems to aim up more when it's the later stages, I remember one of his best years at slams he didn't cover the spread in rounds 1-4 but killed it in the QF onwards so there is that.

Also Pouille got lucky as all hell Raonic allowed one of his shots to sail in thinking it would go out at 40-30 on his serve in the 4th set. If he hit the winner volley like any smart player should have it would have been 5-5.
Not a guarantee it would have been a comeback but still

Potentially, but when you see guys like Nadal talk about their bogus injuries only to miraculously make a Slam Final two weeks later or have no signs of the injury on clay then I just assume they are coming for the eye on the prize and are able to play best of five sets tennis. Sometimes you have niggles/soreness in and out of tournaments, but that happens to nearly every player, it's almost inevitable.

This excludes super obvious injuries like Murray this year of course. Or Novak coming back last year after not playing since Wimbledon.
