How long does a slump have to last before it’s mathematically shown that you’re a terrible bettor?

Is somebody who goes through a 6-27 streak a bad bettor? I mean, seriously, what are the odds that somebody who’s just a long term 50% capper would go 6-27? Less than 1% I’d assume. And it would probably be less than .01% that a long term 55% capper would go 6-27.

Just like I think a lot of people lie about their hot streaks, I also think a lot of people lie about their cold streaks.

Seriously a 1-33 streak is basically impossible. It’s every bit as unlikely as a 33-1 streak is.

Even over a fairly small sample size like 34, I think almost every capper would fall somewhere in between 24-10 and 10-24. If you want to stretch it a bit, maybe in between 9-25 and 25-9.
