They have 10 refs on the field, 5 in the replay booth and 100 cameras. There are no missed calls. They can see everything. If the NFL wanted the Rams in the Suprebowl to build up their fan base in LA the Saints couldn't do anything about it. The NFL will probably pay money to the Saints owner under the table for the Superbowl revenue they lost.

Turn the game into a shit show. But I guess then the rams would’ve challenged the facemask penalty on previous drive and instead of settling for a FG to tie they get it first and goal at the 1 to take the lead. Even the Immaculate Reception + Holy Roller weren't really blown calls. More like marginal plays that led to future rule changes.

This blown-call was on the Helen Keller level. On top of that, the helmet-to-helmet rule was point of emphasis all year long.
