Im a HUGE Bayern fan , and have been for a very long time , so I am biased to a fault. If you really look into this season to date , Bayern were without any sort of midfield due to a major run of injuries at the position ( Ribery ,Rodriguez, Robben , Alacantara , Tolisso , Coman ….. ). The worst part was that they have sold off Vidal and Costa for a profit , so the depth wasn't there when they needed it most. Today they have area in much better shape then they were 2 months ago. Since the return of Ribery , Alcantara and Coman , as well as key defenders Boateng , Hummels and Alaba at periods during the past few weeks , they scored 3 , 5 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 1 , 3 , 1..... while going undefeated in the past 10 with 8 wins and 2 draws.
Not sure who starts for Bayern today , but its nice to have Nuere back in goal as well , one of the worlds best.
Hoffenheim are a quality side , but Bayern will have no excuses today , there are plenty of quality players to draw from.
