I am pretty sure LeBron's camp is telling the Lakers not to give up too much but to make an honest attempt to get him now. They must be pretty sure that Davis will walk from any other team to make the offers that they made. Also I haven't seen shit from any other teams that looks compelling so the Lakers offer right now is the best on the table.

Kyrie will probably walk from the Celtics and join LeBron and then if no trade this year we will see a sign/trade deal that brings Davis to the Lakers next year.
