Marquee showdown in Mile High. There are a lot of reasons to like Denver in this spot. They've been money at home all season, winning their last 12 in a row. And, surprisingly, the Warriors have not performed well against winning teams this season. They're definitely not as dominant as they've been in year's past (but that may change when they get Cousins back in the line up real soon.) But Denver won the first showdown between these two earlier this year, so some measure of revenge is in order. I look for GOLDEN STATE (-1) to give an inspired performance tonight against the new king of the hill.

There's a night off in between, which might cut into the letdown factor.

But keep an eye on the Warriors, who have to play at home the next night against a rested New Orleans squad.

They haven't beat anyone by 30 this year I think.. Their bench is awful.. They barely beat mavs on the road.. I highly doubt.. Square play is nuggets so I can see GS taking this somehow but highly doubt it will be a blowout.. Good luck

I have no idea why you'd call the Nuggets a square play. That's my only reservation with my original pick, is that the Warriors smell like a 'square' play.

You could be right.. I can see arguments for both sides.. I would just go based on what I saw.. Mavs should had won that game but Curry hit everything and even then, once Carlisle took Harris out who just scored 9 pts in a row mavs couldnt buy a bucket at the end.. I like Denver match up here.. They are deep, play well together and won like 12 straight at home..Nobody can check Jokic.. not saying denver can stop Durant or Curry but they could slow them down..We will see.. I know they will be fired up for the game so I will be either taking them or laying off.. Good luck regardless..

Nuggets are tough at home.. Warriors are playing better of late, simply the more talented team, I agree.

If the real Warriors show up and really try to win the game they should get it.. Won't be easy though..

Emotion usually means more during regular season and this is Nuggets' biggest game in God knows how long. Of course, it helps that they are actually good this year and I actually have them as about a -2 favorite at home.
