Look inside the numbers in the EASTERN MICHIGAN/AKRON game. Most of the offensive and defensive stats and H2H edge leans with Akron. Having said that, I put a lot of faith in Coaches Polling...they know the team's and talent better than anyone!! In the recent pre-season Coaches Poll they selected EM to be the MACC champs this year. The most interesting stat I came up with, is check both teams SOS ( strength of schedule) I use CBS sports bc its easy to link to other great sites. Moving forward look at where EM ranks in SOS...6th in the nation...one of the toughest in D1 hoops. Akron ranks #253...teams like EM learn a hell of a lot more playing the best teams...hope is, it will strengthen them and make them better as they chase their ultimate goal of a conference title and a birth to the big dance. So all of those O and D stats of Akron may be a little skewed by playing lesser opponents. No game is ever a LOCK or GUARANTTEE! Akron could come out and score 15 three's and EM could be ice cold from behind the arc. But I'm going with the Coaches Poll and the better team. Sorry for the babble>

My apologies you are correct... I love BUFFALO and I think they are head over heel's the cream of the crop in the MAAC. and have been money... laying dd chalk. The title said safest ML pick I believe? Buff is -13 and to me not worth the odd's unless your betting tons. EM, however on my site 888 is +6.5 and I'm locked in...but made a separate wager on them to win out right...much better value.

I wouldn't be so quick to give up on Nevada...they played a dud! vs NM no question...I'm not expecting another one of those...they were a dd fave vs NM...look back at their last 4 on the road...as sd faves they are 4-0 last 4...as long as Boise isn't nailing a ton of 3's which they are only average at home... ranking #159...I think Nevada wins on the road and covers...They can be a dominating team
