Payton really had no choice, he couldn't justify playing a 39 year old quarterback the final week of the season, and that meant the Saints went 3 weeks without playing before this game.

I think the Eagles had something to say about that, LB...don't dismiss and hate them for what they accomplished...only reason Saints won this game is because sorry ass Jim Schwartz (who should be fired) is afraid to blitz...just basically let "shitstain scar on his face" drew brees sit back in the pocket all day and slice and dice them...there were at least three "3rd and double digits" to go for a first down and the Saints converted easily on all of them in the second half which ironically enough led to all of their scoring drives...christ, I fukkin hate that goddamn soft zone coverage (basically another way of saying prevent defense)..but I'm just happy I had the Eagles (+8.5)...
