great video theory here on gronk. i think its mental and he will show up sunday. could be bills or toms last game maybe even gronks last game. i think with the rest and the fact its the playoffs he will play very well. last few weeks against crap teams he is going half-assed but not for the playoffs

Read this and thought back on all of the Pats Super Bowl wins vs losses, as Brady is 5-3 in 8 appearances. Out of those 5 wins, it seems that there was only one occurance where the Pats won a Super Bowl where public bettors held high expectations. I’d argue that being the Eagles in 2005, as they were viewed as underdogs during victories vs Rams and Seattle and pretty nuetral vs Panthers and Falcons if not underdogs. On the other hand, the opposite is true during losses to the NYG NYG and Eagles as they “could not lose” in the public eye. That said, it seems people are nuetral on them winning the Super Bowl but leaning Pats beat the Chargers with ease. Everyone talking about how the Pats are untouchable at home in the playoffs but forgetting when Baltimore beat them on the road in the divisionals in 2013 (pats are actually 2-2 vs Baltimore in the playoffs which is actually shocking).

Sweating is good as it gets rid of all the body toxins Stevie.. Really good for those that do drugs and drink like a fish.

I come from a Military family, trained and even fold my own laundry if you can believe that. Even bust out the iron at times. Got an in house maytag washer and dryer. Got 2 dozen very clean white T-shirts from Costco sitting and folded in my shelving now. Other finer clothes I take to the laundry mat for pressing. That's how I roll.

Is a tough game to bet on, really is. You got weather and cold to factor in, an aged Tom Brady and a hit miss Pats team this year but at home and rested now. Got this Chargers team that is pretty good on both sides of the ball, they've been road warriors all year but haven't had much luck beating the Pats over the years. Etc.. etc..

Tough call either way.. Might pass on betting it myself..

This current Pats team is old now and not the same team of years past. This Pats team is a little vulnerable this year, opposite can be said for the Chargers. Charger improved greatly. Both teams going in different directions in a sense..

Those of you backing New England largely on what they have done in years gone by need to know that all dynasties end, and usually die hard.

The greatest dynasty and greatest sports franchise, the New York Yankees between 1955 and 1964 went to the World Series 9 times in ten years. 1965 they finished 6th out of 10th, 1966 dead fukking last, 1967 9th out of 10th.
They didn't even come close to a playoff game in 12 years.

Great teams get old, dynasties end and usually it's not pretty.

Been saying this since I joined here in 2010, when everyone tried to argue w me that manning was a better an than Brady. Silenced all those posters, one of whom was Lakerman. I always win when it comes to Brady. I had pats winning it all before the year and I will continue to pick them as long as they stay healthy and keep finding quality players. All these guys on the pats have rings. Chargers are a good team but anyone betting on them needs to pray, seriously. Rivers is a meltdown waiting to happen.

that's how it usually works out, Booya...the cream always rises to the top...Dawgs usually cover and sometimes win outright in the Wildcard round...and the favorites usually cover and win in the Divisional round...yes, there are a few exceptions but that is usually the rule of thumb...having said that, I'm undecided on this Eagles-Saints game...the only reason I'm a little reluctant to back the Saints is because they finished the season on a down note and have been struggling down the stretch...the other faves finished strong and came into these games on a hot streak.
