This is a great spot for Southern Illinois. They struggled as of late but it was mainly because of Armon Fletcher missing past few weeks due to suspension. He is expected to be back and that will be a big boost for Southern Illinois and they are lot better than their current record indicate. They are on the road at Drake today and everyone is all over Drake due to the fact that they have nice record and because of sluggish Southern Illinois play as of late without their star player but there are few other things at play other than Armon Fletcher coming back. Drake's versatile ball mover Nick Norton got injured on January two against Evansville and he will miss the remainder of the season. This will be a big miss for Drake since he is a core part of Drake's offense and defense. Norton leads the team in minutes played, assists and steals. His 14 points per game is 2nd in the team behind McGlynn's 16.3ppg. He also leads the team in 3 point attempts and gets them in successfully 40% of the time. With the 1st game without him, Drake lost by 11 points at home to Illinois Chicago. Southern Illinois is actually better team with Armon Fletcher back and expect them to win this. Southern Illinois opened as +1.5 underdog overnight and we pounded that line but the limits were too small at that time to release it to clients.
