Clear recovery rule is stupid cause you’re supposed to stop playing when the whistle blows

They spent such a long time trying to clarify some "weird" new rule when clearly the refs stopped the play.

Are they implying some player should have jumped on it after the whistle just in case there was a review?

Ruling on field stands of eh a catch no recovery so em incomplete pass.

Before this year I’d have never thought in million years they would call a catch. This year they have went the total opposite and given lot of catches on very suspect plays!! I could live with it going either way. I thought it was a catch but also it was def a fumble so had eagles players been alert woulda turned out bad! Lol

That had to be a mistake? We've seen plays before where a runner fumbles into the line but there's no clear recovery because of the pile of players. So the offense keeps the ball at the spot of the fumble. So why would it be different on a catch? The guy in the booth had it right. Since nobody on Philly grabbed the ball, it should be catch, down at the 6-yard-line.

They clearly messed up in the SD game on the goal line catch. Even if you don't give him the TD, the ball should be at the 1-inch line, instead they left it at the 1-yard-line.

Jeez...I want to put Eagles ML +160 with my +122 winner to complete a $50 parlay but I have enough on this one already. Chicago gets the kickoff so its not wise but I think Philly wins. Jeffrey, Golden Tate, Aguilar, and Sproles! So much better then the Bears guys. Plus they might actually catch 1-2 of the 3-4 balls that Mitch throws them this half

Well I mean they said the Charger that caught it , rolled over while never being touched until the ball was midway through the white in the End zone wasn't a score either .
It's not the first shitty call today , replay is to correct calls yet fukkin them up left and right .

I’m telling ya, go watch the chargers at pats last year.. granted pats won by 8 but as I said it was based off 2 plays.

One of dumbest plays I ever seen by a punt returner (Benjamin) that turned into a safety plus pats getting ball to close out half w another score! then chargers had a td called back on totally bogus penalty which I guess we should expect plenty of again next week!!!

8 point win in a game chargers had 7 stolen from them and handed pats 5 extra points before half thanks to a moron punt returner., chargers were clearly the better team in that game!!!

Pats could very well win but strongly believe it be with a last second fg!!

So, the why understand it now, the ref basically interfered with a live ball after the whistle and that clearly could have only hurt Philly, not Chicago.

And while Rivers has never beaten Brady, he should have back in 2007, when the SD cornerback ran with a pick instead of going down and fumbled the ball back to Brady, who scored a TD, then a 2-pointer to tie the game. Then Marty and Cam Cameron went conservative and punted the ball back, and Brady drove for the winning FG.

Bears offensive strategy is horrible. They're lucky they have anything. Take the ball away from Mitch and just run it with short screens and bootlegs etc. They got out to midfield just now by taking the ball away from Mitch. They give it back to him and insta-punt

God Bless the Chargers back then! Indy couldn't beat SD. They couldn't stop Sproles or Rivers, but that loss meant Indy was home for the AFC championship after playing on the road in round 2
