Simple handicap here men. Many of you have seen me use this logic in the past, or a variation of it. Betting a higher rated team on the road, after they dropped home field earlier in the season as a favorite to pk. The chargers lost to the Ravens a few weeks ago in what was seemingly a great spot for the Chargers. The Ravens were coming off of short rest in the last matchup, but still found a way to cover the number and win the game outright. This week I have the Chargers getting their revenge. Even though it’s an early start for the Chargers(10 am pacific), I don’t think it matters as much because it is a playoff game, and they will both have maximum motivation. I don’t like that the Ravens have had to essentially win all of their last few games fighting against Pittsburgh for a playoff spot, while the Chargers have been coasting so to speak for the last three to four weeks. The Ravens and Lamar have proven a lot of people wrong and have made their backers a lot of money, however, I think there’s something to be said for the Chargers getting an opportunity to adjust their gameplan and learn lessons from the previous matchup.
