      Massive?

Australia was only a -217 outright favorite in this match.

        Final result 1-0 Jordan

scored early from a setpiece and probably parked the bus from there. Pregame Odds movement suggests that Australia doesn't care much about this tournament either. Asia Cup lol

If it was like baseball you would be rich by blindly betting every dog in soccer.

still got more games to go wasn't a one off

Powered on by a small but vocal following in the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Jordan held off a late onslaught by the reigning Asian champions in the second-half to leave the Socceroos with little margin for error in their remaining two group matches.
Already struck by injury to key players such as Aaron Mooy, Martin Boyle, Daniel Arzani and Mat Leckie, the Socceroos suffered another blow before the match with Andrew Nabbout ruled out due to a groin strain.
Jamie Maclaren took his place in the centre of Australia's three-pronged attack but failed to make much impact on the match as Graham Arnold's men dominated possession but were largely ineffective up front.
Scotland-based star Tom Rogic had Australia's best chance to level the game in the second half but somehow blazed his shot over from 12 yards after a cutback by Aziz Behich in the 72nd minute.

Jordan had the best player, Musa Al-Taamari. You will see him playing in the big leagues soon.

Would have been really massive if it was American Samoa that beat Australia. Revenge for that 31-0 loss back in 2001.

Opti, how seriously are the Aussies + other big teams taking this Asian Cup? IE, are all the top players skipping out on club to attend this event?

I was wondering about African Cup of Nations. I see that African Cup is finally moving to summer window (JUN/Jul), b/c it was in Jan/Feb window in 2017. I would imagine that the Liverpool fans would have strung up Salah (Egypt) if he skipped out on Liverpool to play for Egypt.

That's a great clip. There's a striker named Thompson who scored 13 goals in that game...but was then excluded from next Intl match.

I think Australia has most players there they want from Europe. A few injuries in key spots but think it is being taken seriously.

But i also think our national team is full of a lot of players without a lot of passion for being Australian anymore, due to having been living in Europe so long being paid big money and having a much different lifestyle.

I wont be betting any more Asian Cup I dont think.
