the big schools in other conferences are just always bigger faster and stronger than the huskies, state is still too physical of a team for them. I wonder if petersen gonna pull some razzle dazzle like he used to at boise

#72Hey Harry,Originally posted by SEAHAWKHARRYI used to go to Rose bowl games when the Huskies played back in the Eighties. Fun times spending night out in Pasadena RVing it . Trying to steal a beer from my uncles. Trying to get Autograpfs from players I was 12-15 yrs old. Man that was awhile a go.
I'm in Indiana and the P12 is the one conference I don't see much of, but how did Browning have 43 tds/6 picks or whatever a few years ago? I've never thought he was worth a shit or talented in particular. System play and shitty defenses I'm guessing?Comment -

#73It’s colts titans all over again!! These matchups are like gifts from the gambling gods!!! (Hopefully)Originally posted by alamoIs anyone actually on Washington. I’m really unsure why they could think they can live with Ohio. It’s a mismatch in just about every position and the PAC is dreadful these days.Comment -

#75Excellent Point!Originally posted by WrongsideMeyer is too smart. Most coaches run the ball right there. 2nd and 10 in that territory after an incomplete pass and your run game has been going good. Most coaches couldn't live with themselves if they didn't run and found themselves in a 3rd and 10. Meyer knows this and knows how to play against it.Comment -

#76I say that one sign of being an adult is being able to have differing opinions on something and not get mad at each other.Originally posted by 2daBankWe gonna have to agree to disagree pal, that ok, we all have various opinions on this stuff. Only assholes can’t discuss respectfully
I just don’t buy that for a minute. Imo lines move purely based on money and books attempt to balance it out. They not gambling they looking to collect the vig much like stock brokers collecting commission based off their clients speculations.
Ultimately it doesn’t matter to me. To each is own but I’ve never made plays based off thinking line moves having predictive value, never cared about those percentages I have serious doubts are even accurate, or any other thing I find meaningless to the outcome. I cap them and bet where I perceive there to be value. That what has served me best over the years. Not saying my way any more right than anyone else’s, just that it works for me.

As far as books balancing things out, if they did that then half the players would end up winning. In my opinion, since they don't (especially in games such as this) that is how 95% of bettors lose. The bettors overextend themselves betting "obvious" games like this.Comment -

#78That why it doesn’t even matter to them when we all smash on a game like colts Sunday night. They know that 85% the ppl will give it right back! Lol. Even when they lose they win as it just inspires morons to get more confident!! #93Thats the thing though. Clemson loses their 330 lb big boy and replaces him with a guy thats a better pass rusher. The same 3-4 teams have depth where they can lose some key guys and keep rolling. get crap set and snap the ball or take a gd timeout with a 14-3 lead and a 3rd and 9... 5 yards kills the drive 80% of the timeComment -

#101OSU makes it so hard on themselves to get off the field on defense
they get a penalty on 1st down and decline it and give wash a 2nd and 10 ??? wtf MEYER???
barely get a stop on a 3rd and 10, now backed up on the 1 yard line...
OSU as usual making it hard on themselves to run away with a game.Comment -
