I took NW. However, I understood it could be do the a perceived lackluster NW offense, Utah has been incredibly solid in bowl games, especially that coach. Utah has more team speed. Travel well for bowl games and SD is much closer to Utah. These weren't great reasons to take Utah, but see what the books were thinking...Also, sometimes that are senior heavy don't play that great in bowl games, contrary to what one might think...Comment -

I realize this is not captivating reading, but I have a winning (personal) process. I think it is due to the perception that Penn State is a team that some thought could go to the playoff early in the season. A certain class that Kentucky just does not have. Plus mobile QB's that can make things happen are great to have on your side in bowl games.

While the season was heavy dependent on the run with the offense, don't think Wilson can't throw the ball and will let it fly in this game. If he gets running he's fully capable of taking it to the house as well. The Cats are excited as hell to be here and Penn St seems more disappointed. Don't forget the motivation factor. Ky has Bowden and Conrad who can catch the ball and Bowden can make some hugeplays once he has it in his hands whether on a pass play or punt returns.
Allen is a beast on D and he's hungry, he should be a top 5 pick(whether he will or not remains to be seen).
This is not to say Penn St won't win because they very well can. Their offensive numbers were better than Kentucky's this season but this is a 1 game season tomorrow for Kentucky and the Cats are ready to eat.Comment -

Venom I agree with you for the most part. I've seen Kentucky 4-5x this year. I know their QB isn't that good, but one game really opened my eyes with Penn State. My sorry Indiana Hoosiers actually ran the ball all over Penn State. Indiana had a 554-417 advantage in yards and 224-174 in rushing. Maybe it was just an off game for Penn State's D, but Kentucky is very physical and may beat them up in the trenches.Originally posted by Venom72Comment -

Lol qb sucks? No he is new to a system who has gotten better during the year as expected. U forget his flat out speed as well when plays break down he can get loose extremely quick and convert first downs. Kentucky defense will be quicker then any defense penn st has seen all year as well. I’ll back Kentucky here in this spot and a little play on ML as well.
