With my luck in cards this year, I should go since I live only 10 minutes from Parx casino. I was there just two days ago and won a lot.

I got 7 Royal Flushes this year playing Pai Gow and I bet the bonus on only two of them and won $1,500; once at Borgata and once at Parx. Royal Flush normally pays 150 to 1, but at Tropicana it pays 200 to 1 and I got three of them in ONE hour and that has to be some kind of record as I highly doubt if anyone else got 3 Royal Flushes in only 1 hour.

I might still go to play poker and hope to hit a high hand.

Casinos around here only have slots and racebook. I'm a low-roller anyway, but I like to wager chump change on sports for entertainment. Be nice if the casinos offered that option.

Thanks. I went to play poker this past Saturday and I was 19th on the wait list for the 1-2 game, so I went and played Pai Gow and did really well. Then, I played poker at 5 AM when the room cleared out and won an all-in bet after being card dead for about an hour and made extra before I had to go back home.

Two hands before my all-in, I held J 8 of clubs and had an open-ended shot at a straight on 10d 9h Kc flop. Three players went all-in for a total pot of about $600 plus, so I folded. Turn and River were 7c and Kd. Two guys held QJ for nut straights but the third guy held K 10 and he rivered a full house and won the pot. I would have been stacked with my lower straight.

Are you staying in AC for the night?

I can normally get Sunday-Friday comped and sometimes Saturday's, but tonight came up at $400 including tax.

I live like 10 minutes from Parx and yet I hardly go there; maybe once or twice a year at the most. I go to AC more regularly because of the hotel and all of the perks like the Diamond lounge for free food and drinks as it's all free being over 25K tier points.

I would be in trouble with the casino gambling if I lived that close to AC.

Yeah I used to live in that area and played at all the local rooms. I found I liked Sugarhouse the best, Parx was a strong 2nd but I found the daytime players there were extremely tight. They're gonna be tight anywhere, but I thought they were extra tight there. Sounds like you were at a fun table.
