The issue with Malzahn is that he is supposed to be an offensive genius yet his offense is avg at best every year. Why do they not improve? Why cant they throw the ball? If they were 7-5 every year and scoring 35 pts a game his seat would be a lot less hot. He needs to prove that he can get the offense going otherwise where is he adding value?

I've hammered Purdue this year. Seen them almost every game and they really only have 1 explosive player in the freshman WR. I think Auburn could defend them pretty well....def don't see 60 points in this game myself.

I have a little on Purdue +3.5 & ML, but about 1/4 of what I have on Syracuse. The biggest thing to me is Purdue is fired up their coach didn't leave and Auburn is disappointed that their coach has been paid to stay. Purdue would've had a better record after a slow start, but the had a mental lapse after beating Ohio State for the first time in 30 years. Thats understandable for college kids, but they'll be ready to go today

At the end of the day its the players who play the game. Purdue is missing their top defensive end Neal. Its Stidhams last game he should be motivated to finish his career on a high. Auburn doesn't really have any bad losses except Tenn, i highly doubt Purdue would have beat Bama, Georgia or LSU. Purdue lost 6 games this year in a worse conference and while they have the one win against Ohio State that is as much an outlier as the Tenn game is for Auburn. Auburn actually has a good pass defense and if they limit the pass they will shut down Purdue and win easily. I don't see Purdue stopping the run and unless Auburn turns it over they will win.

what game did auburn play that impressed you? they only scored 30 or more twice against power 5 competition. purdue scored over 40 4 times under those circumstances. Auburn doesnt score enough to cover the number as purdue will be able to pass for over 300 on them

I agree with what your saying, and im not splitting hairs but were still guessing that Auburn will not be motivated in this game. I mean its their QBs last game with the team, im sure he will be motivated to at the very least improve his draft stock, and if i could pick 1 position to have a motivated player playing it would be QB.

only problem is he's not really good and should have never been hyped as a 1st day pick last year. it went to his head and he's digressed this year have seen him smiling on sidelines after bad passes and picks au doesnt run an offense that's just gonna let him shine. theyll bring their tricky stuff and we'll need to get it done mainly on the ground front 4 on d is good secondary is just ok, those guys get away with a lot of holding in the secondary prob wont get away with that with bowl officials
