I like Tech at 5.5. This is Johnson's final game and he has a senior QB and good team. Tech should have beaten South Florida and finished 8-5 but they gave up 2 special teams touchdowns and their starting QB got hurt. Minnesota's offense is inconsistent and they gave up over 200 yards rushing to Illinois. Minnesota has no played any team that runs the option offense.

GT has too much run for the gophers.
Ford Field means weather no impact and gophers also missing tacklers.

Everyone is on Georgia tech and I’m pretty sure I am going to be on them as well but there is one thing that worries me. Georgia tech tends to do really well when their opponents don’t have a lot of prep time due to the unfamiliarity with the triple option. In this case Minnesota has had to two weeks to practice strictly defending the option. I love the angle that it’s Johnson’s last game though, and I circled this game as soon as the bowl schedule gcame out but it is a little unnerving seeing everyone in the same side.

I'm on MN +6.5. Don't underestimate "row the boat" PJ Fleck. They finished really strong and defense is playing better. GT defense is terrible. MN keeps it close.

This is Gophers new D coordinator like 4th game only I think. Im not seeing him as coming up w a plan for triple option that anyone in ACC couldn't.

Too much crazy for MN...suspensions, injuries, changes, 1st bowl for most kids, guys sitting out plus the obvious big letdown from Wisconsin win (thats big in MN).

I see Tech as a nitch team with much sentiment to play for that is in solid form...we'll see here

Minnesota's best offensive linemen is sitting out for the draft and Minnesota beat Wisconsin coming into the bowl, I think that win makes this bowl game less meaningful. This is Johnson's last game at Tech, I think Tech will be more focused.
