76ers/Celtics Over 223

I rarely bet totals but this one in particular jumped off the page. Scoring is way up across the league so it’s not unusual to see numbers like this, but it’s still rather alarming to see this big of a total, particularly in a rivalry game with a recent series of not so high-scoring games.

I know Boston is ranked relatively high in defensive efficiency and points allowed but neither of these two teams have really been stopping anyone lately. The Sixers have one of the weaker bench units in the league right now and have been getting roasted on switches. Look for a back and forth, trading baskets game tomorrow between these two. It might tighten up late but I think we could be looking at both teams around 90 or so heading into the 4th quarter. Then again, maybe it won’t even sniff the number - like i said, I rarely bet totals.

i was commenting on the celtics defense the last few games they dont even try. the only time they tried was down 15 against milwaukee but that just upped the pace of the game. tony snell was blowing by jaylen brown all game thats just effort. game goes over unless the refs decide to swallow the whistle
