Kyrie Irving is a new addition to the Celtics’ injury report and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a sore right shoulder, while Baynes will miss his second consecutive game with a sprained left ankle. Horford and Hayward have also been downgraded to doubtful, so it appears that Boston will be severely shorthanded for tonight’s contest.

#2Be careful yisman. Payton OUT tonight plus Unibrow and Moore questionable for the Pelicans. This game feels like a crapshoot stay away situation.Comment -

#6Even if Moore+Davis is healthy, i would hesitate taking new orleans on the road against Boston even without Irving, hayward, hortford missing.
Starting 5 for boston is
- PG
Marcus Smart - SG
Jaylen Brown - SF
Jayson Tatum - PF
Marcus Morris - C
Daniel Theis
That is a dangerous starting 5 for fully healthy pelicans playing in the road.Comment -

#9Risky play. Celtics starting 5 i posted above can dance with this pelicans team even with zero bench. Pelicans have their share of injuries as well.Comment -

#10Not any more risky than most bets. Celtics are too short on the rosterOriginally posted by danwinklerRisky play. Celtics starting 5 i posted above can dance with this pelicans team even with zero bench. Pelicans have their share of injuries as well.
it will affect their ability to play hard all night. Davis is only questionable and
perhaps can be used sparingly, this is a game they will try to get out with the W
while Boston is just looking ahead.Comment -

#15I don't care what your opinions are, your model, what your bookie, or your "source" says. Horford and Baynes out, if AD is playing, I will take New Orleans - anything under 5. AD by far is the best player on the court, and Boston is missing their top 2 players, and it messes their rotations. Yes Boston's starting 5 is still good, but there bench depth isn't when you take out all the missing pieces. I like to bet a game where I see a edge and IMO the Pelicans , if AD is playing, is a solid betComment -

#20Davis and Embiid are top 2 for me unless we consider Greek a 5. Towns is too soft to be in discussion but I think Ayton will join the conversation in a few seasons. I am a big fan of Cousins but coming back from an achilles rupture is going to be difficult for a big man.Originally posted by shadymcgradyHas the brow become the unquestioned best big in the league now? #21Interestingly Towns always wins the H2H matchup. Overpowers him. I would say Davis is the best, but he's still vulnerable to certain matchups.Originally posted by shadymcgradyHas the brow become the unquestioned best big in the league now?
