So, I'm watching this FCS playoff game (ND State)
These North Dakota State kids can play!
Feeling here is they can compete with the ordinary D1 teams.
Heard they are 22-1 at home in the playoffs since 2000.
What else is there to do in North Dakota but play football though.

Sagarin has them 24th in the country!

Second highest ranked FCS team is South Dakota State at 58th, so must be a Dakota thing.

I been watching their playoff games since Wentz was there. offense was pretty exotic with a lot of balance. ran the ball and passed out of so many formations. Not sure if same coach still there. But they play real football. tough team and probably getting better recruits as premiere team in that division.

EWU Alumni here. BET EWU HUGE!!!! Will win today by 21 easily. The inferno will be lit for this game. Already made UCD our bitch earlier in the season. Take it to the bank. Easiest money all year.

          They beat Gophers regularly

Mostly MN and Dakota kids that cant hack UofM.

          Get decent QB recruits

          Wentz played there

If they played SEC teams instead of cupcakes they would lose by 30 points or more. They are as good as the opposition they face.

Sagarin has North Dakota State slightly ahead of Kentucky and South Carolina.

I am citing Sagarin because they are only site I have seen that mixes FBS and FCS together.

They play in front of 5,000 people. They go to Lexington or Columbia in front of 80,000 fans and they would poop in their pants.

They have won AT Kansas State, Iowa and Minnesota in recent years, those first two teams were ranked at the time I believe.

They would lose big on a road trip to SEC country. It's usually a blowout when SEC teams play the little schools. The line of scrimmage of SEC teams on both sides is 50-75 lbs heavier than North Dakota. They would push them around at will and kill them with the running game.

And yet while the SEC has no problem scheduling Citadel and Furman, none of them want to schedule North Dakota State.

It's the other way around. North Dakota State doesn't want to play Georgia and get exposed and then lose rankings on the Sagarin. It fits them better when they play nobody and get better artificial rankings on Sagarin.

Long string of wins over 1-A teams. They don't want to schedule Bison anymore.

SOS is incorporated in Sagarin so not quite artificial.
