Niagara vs. Pittsburgh: The Panthers lost at home to Niagara 71-70. Pitt trailed by 12 late in the second half, but they cut the lead to 1 and had the ball with 6.6 seconds left. Freshman Xavier Johnson had a chance to win it but his shot rimmed out. Johnson led the Panthers in scoring with 19 points. Freshman Au’Diese Toney scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
