These teams tend to play at breakneck paces when they play each other. Both horrible defensively and if you look at Fairfield’s home losses they have been games that have flown over this number, terrible defenses, fast pace, and history of high scoring games makes me think this sails over more times than not..

Brown/canisius under 146

Brown is playing some really strong defense and most importantly they among the best 3 point percentage defenses in the country. Granted some of that may be poor competition however they recently played another metro athletic conf team in Marist who like canisius shoots a lot of 3s, unlike canisius marist shoots them at a very good clip and brown held them to 3-19 in their gym. 42% of canisius shots been behind the arc and they hitting a abysmal 28%,, don’t expect that to improve a whole lot vs this brown squad who holding teams to 26% on the season!!

Offensively brown also depends heavily on the 3 and despite the fact canisious doesn’t defend it particularly well brown not great at shooting them and ya’ll know how i typically feel about road teams that shoot this many treys. With brown being favored here I expect if they win for it to come on the strength of their defense as butler is the only team they have allowed to reach 70 since the beginning of December..,

Look for 70 to be the number it takes to win this contest in a game I feel will be played just short of 140.
