Cano has indeed waived his no-trade clause, per Morosi. It’ll be Cano, Diaz and $20MM for Bruce, Swarzak, Kelenic, Dunn and Bautista, Heyman tweets. The trade will save the Mariners approximately $64MM, Johns notes on Twitter. It should become official “late Monday,” Sherman reports.

As a Mets fan, I want to puke over this deal. Jarred Kelenic is suppose to be a really good prospect.

That's where a lot of people are saying the Mets overpaid on this deal. They would still be practically saving the Mariners in this deal without including him.
