First one hit easy with Pats -10 vs Colts (faded my own team, i knew them and the situation and won)
Tried a second one in baseball during playoffs (not my strong suit) with the brewers dodgers game and got burned by the Dodgers who got lucky with some HR that night.
I've waited over 5 weeks to post one again.
Time to get back to winning. Or else the body-bag plays will end up in a trash bag themselves... never to be seen again.
I'm once again fading one of the teams that I know best in sports.
The play is Michigan -3 vs North Carolina
Let's see how long UNC stays in the game before Michigan turns up the pressure and then turns defense into instant, easy offense.
Let's see how long it takes Roy to call a timeout to stop the bleeding. He likes to let his guys "figure it out themselves on the court" before he finally steps in. He does it all the time. You can't do that with these young players. When he waits too long and then finally stops play and UNC is down 14 after being down 1 just minutes earlier... they already feel beaten. They will play hurried, rushed offense and end up with bad shots/forced shots and turnovers... and the deficit my just continue to grow as Roy continues to tell them to play faster... as the other team grows more confident by the second on offense.
I've seen this story time and time again from UNC when playing great defensive teams. The script for this young Carolina team is already written for tonight.
The only thing that can keep them in it is if someone goes off and scores 30+... that was the only thing that kept UNC close to Texas (only L for UNC so far) in the 2nd half. They still lost by 3 and that was with someone hitting a late 3 with 5 seconds to go down 5 and then Texas going 1/2 from the FT line.
