Pac-12 Championship: Utah +5.5 and ML +180

Utah has quietly put together a rock solid season. They have a strong running game and even after losing Huntley, the offense hasn’t really skipped a beat. I see no reason why the Utes can’t win this game. Washington beat them 21-7 early in the season but teams evolve over the course of a season and I really don’t see a huge gap between these two. Washington will be a huge public play especially coming off the win over Washington State. I’m riding with Utah to at least cover and have a good shot at winning the game outright.

I am leaning Washington. There is a remote chance Huntley returns today and if he does, I will bet Washington after the line moves to -3 or -3.5. Huntley hasn't played in a while and won't be 100% if they bring him in.

+/- 4 months ago, after getting my ass kicked all over Vegas at the tables for a few days I threw down on UTA to win the Pac-12 @ +1100. I had just listened to a podcast and the guy said they would be surprisingly good. I guess he was right. I can't believe they actually have a chance. That being said I don't think it's a good chance.

The Pac-12 has been crazy this year. There are about 8 teams that are arguably as good as each other. I can't ever remember it being so even. The real problem is none of them are really that good. I've been listening to podcasts and shows all week and have only heard one brief mention of Pac-12 (From "Stanford Steve", west coast guy). It's kind of sad where it's at considering all the great USC, Washington Husky teams of past years. And, more recently, Stanford and the Oregon Ducks.

It just seems the west coast can't recruit like the south, mid-west and east. Mainly, they can't pull players from those areas and that really seems to be where the lion's share of the talent comes from. I'm starting to think we're softer out here on the west coast..... something about snowflakes, maybe?

Oh well, at least for today I guess I'm a Utah fan!! BOL everyone
