i haven't taken a close look at the spot/where the catch was made, but he the claim is that he was a bit short of the first down on that 4th down catch near the end of regulation.... and rolled toward the area where the ball was spotted.

was surprised they didn't call for a measurement, or lsu raise hell about the spot....

The line on SEC network was wrong. The actual line to gain was the 43, not the 41 like they had highlighted. It was 4th and 18 on the 39. 18 yards from the 39 is the 43. No phantom call at all; they had the first by 2 yards
