The celebrations have been great to watch, a great marketing tool for the league. I mean there is a thread in sbr about it, were all talking about the latest celebration at the water cooler. A collective solid effort by the NFL players.

I didn't read this whole thread through, so somebody may have made this point already.

Here's the problem, the networks go out of their way to show these celebtations.
Not just a few, every one.

After every TD I say to myself "here comes the chest bumps, wait for it.... wait for it... then sure as shit, the camera crew is right on that.

I don't want to see no fukking chest bumps, that cell phone thing is bush league, you know what I want to see after a TD? The scorer handing the ball to the ref, not some jack ass doing a Texas two step.

If the networks stopped showing the chest bumps, they'd go away, guaranteed.
These players know it's free face time on national TV, what they don't know is most of the viewing public is like "sigh"

Not once did I ever see Ronnie Lott do a silly celebration, problem is for every class act like Lott however we have ODB doing Elvis on the sidelines, etc. etc. etc.

It has to be difficult to watch a successful, rich black man celebrating his achievement with a freedom of expression you’ll never possess. This might be the stupidest post I have seen in awhile. I never said celebrations are bad. Maybe learn how to read and then comment. I loved the old td celebrations by players. But a 2 minute celebration on a meaningless play, down 3 tds in garbage time makes about as much sense as your post and just shows how fukin stupid some of these clowns really are.
