That's terrible news , her 3 year old granddaughter who was with her passed away from the accident as well .

Alabama State Trooper Cpl. Jimmy Harrell said the driver of a commercial vehicle carrying some kind of explosive material was traveling eastbound when he possibly blew a tire and the truck overturned on its side.


It then veered into oncoming traffic in the westbound lane and collided with an SUV carrying the woman and the infant. Both have been confirmed dead. The truck driver was flown to UAB Hospital’s Trauma Center.

Poor Paul was pitiful today. It is absolutely horrible to think of losing your mother and child like that. They never stood a chance in that accident. You had to admire her passion and spirit.
