Their 96 points in the last 2 weeks are the most in any 2-game span in franchise history.

According to nola.com, the fire alarms were activated for about 15 minutes ahead of the game at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. The loud sound and timing of the alarm weren’t ideal for the Saints as they tried to focus in on their pregame routine.

Payton, though, went a bit too far in stopping the distraction. He evidently smashed the fire alarm in the visiting locker room.

There could be legal ramifications of destroying a fire alarm — not to mention the actual property damage done to the stadium. The Bengals told nola.com that they have reached out to authorities about the damage.
