I've noticed that sometimes live odds shift to the shorthanded team's favor during a power play..why is that?

During the power play some places take the live odds down. Some leave them up and favor the team in the power play. Have not seen any book favor the short handed team.

I’m thinking just a mistake by the book. I’ve seen it before where they will put a penalty by the wrong team and the odds also shift that way

I think it means in regulation time left...so the odds do not reflect overtime and shootouts.

Yea, I think it was a mistake or the team took their goalie out....it was weird, tho.
