Why do teams tend to play better at Home?
It seems like it should make more sense in some sports more than others. But I'm not aware of any sport that it doesn't have an effect. What are the biggest factors(in each sport)? Also, anyone have any unusual theories?

Nothing more than timely crowd noise and familiarity of stadium surroundings, colors, lights, etc.

          Comfort nothing more

When athletes go on the road they are entitled to get some strange

                  Which usually involves alcohol too

I had a drink with a-roid at a strp club back in 2010. Yanks had just flown into town for a series....

He ordered "6 bottles of goose" for his table

He went 0-4 the next day and 2 for 13 in the series. It was back when he was stuck on 599 for 2 weeks
